“The biggest I’ve heard of in this cycle.” That’s how campaign-finance expert Adam Bozzi described her lobbyist money to the Union Leader. Lobbyists rarely give to newcomers in open seats, he said, and the connection to her mother is “pretty obvious.” The givers lobby for Meta, Google, Boeing, Pfizer, Amazon and Lockheed Martin. They include former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle ($2,500), former Sens. Mary Landrieu ($1,000) and Mark Pryor ($500), and former Rep. Michael Capuano ($1,000), all now lobbyists. Her opponent in the primary, Maura Sullivan, got $24,175 from lobbyists.

She attacked her rival for “ICE vendor” money. In the primary she criticized Sullivan for $9,000 from executives of Palantir, an ICE contractor. Her own campaign took $4,250 from lobbyists at two firms that represent Palantir, and $2,250 from Lockheed Martin lobbyists. Lockheed received more than $1.1 billion in Customs and Border Protection and ICE contracts from 2005 to 2024.
