Her own words

She said “dismantle ICE.” Then she said she didn’t.

She called for dismantling ICE twice in the weeks before the Oct. 19 debate. When her opponent raised it on stage, she denied it.

She wants body cameras for ICE, but she voted against them for Portsmouth. At the Oct. 6 NHPR debate she called for mandatory body cameras on ICE agents. In 2019 she was one of three Portsmouth police commissioners who voted unanimously against body cameras for the city’s own officers, and the commission stood by that vote after George Floyd was killed.
